Rated 5 out of 5 by Totally Excellent Product!! Finally: a set of floor sitting chairs that are comfortable, well-padded, extremely adjustable, and good-looking to boot. Bought for sitting in day long floor sitting workshops. Couldn't be more pleased. November 20, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great floor chairs I bought these so that I wouldn't hurt my back sitting on the floor with my three-month-old, and these are perfect. There are several different angle settings and they look nice. December 11, 2012

Weight limit?

Is there a weight limit to these? I want to get them for my teenage step sons. One is 200 lbs. I don't want him to break it.

Answer:
I used it for 2.5 hours tonight, adult about 180 pounds. I can't imagine 200 pounds would be a problem. They are strong - like the ratcheting mechanism on beach chairs. You're fine.

Answer:
I don't remember if they stated a limit but from what I have seen I would think 200 lbs would be no problem. My brother-in-law is bigger than that and I believe he tried them. As a matter of fact they were a gift for him and his family. They have been used everyday since he opened them on Christmas. I believe your step sons will love them. You could always double check with the company when you order them but I feel there is no problem. Good luck!

How straight/upright is the back support?

I'd like to know whether the back support can be positioned to a 90 degree angle (L-shaped)? The photo seems to show the users leaning back a little. I'm wondering if they can go any straighter than that?

Answer:
Yes, can absolutely be set for 90 degrees. I found that a soft pillow in the small of my back was an enhancement.

Answer:
Great question. I just tried mine and you can indeed get it to 90-degrees precisely and it does lock in nicely with a crisp L-position. Though it's more comfortable leaning back a couple degrees.

Answer:
Heighth isn't a word. :)

When flat, they measure 19"x38" When you open it, both the seat part and back part are 19"x19" - plenty big.

Answer:
This chair works like a standard beach lounge chair: you push the backrest all the way forward so it touches the seat and then pull it back until the entire chair is fully flat. Then, you slowly lift the back up again and you can hear it click as it ratchets up one notch at a time. There are five positions you can recline it to - from fully flat all the way up to 90% straight back, fully seated. I love mine!

Answer:
Thank you for your question. To raise the back, simply lift to the desired position. To lower the back, pivot the backrest forward to release the locking mechanism, then push back, as stated in the instructions above.

Answer:
These things are pretty light (but strong). Each unit is probably 2 pounds (but remember, you get two of these when you buy the set). They might be too big in flag position to take on a plane (you would have to check them, but if you check the box of two you're fine - they come in a box so you can easily add another layer of tape and check it on a flight).
