Very happy with our purchase of this privacy screen. It is very well constructed and has a beautiful finish. Wish they had longer stakes for placing it into the ground.

This screen is made of a nicely stained hardwood that will go the distance in all weather. The instructions could be improved by the actual order of assembly (bottom brackets should be installed first). The holes weren't always properly drilled to accomodate screws, and the panels stand uneven because of the placement of the hinging eyelets. We also have our doubts about the quality of the hardware. This screen will be much improved when we purchase a better quality hardware and pre-drill holes where they SHOULD be placed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

These very nicely finished, very attractive solid wood screens were just what I was looking for. The assembly instructions are clear, the panels easy to put together (the taller one is easier with two people, but could be leaned against a wall and screwed together). It would be really nice if the short panels could be connected to the tall ones to create a single unit, but the screws are in different places. It would also be nice if there was a stand that these could be put in for places where you can't really screw them in for (such as a concrete patio) for stability. They will blow over in a high wind (ours went over in a 30 - 40 mph gust). The rain beads up on them (you can smell the wood oil on them when they come out of the box). The reddish wood color is also very attractive. I expect to enjoy them for a long time to come.
