2-Panel Pet Gate-36"H 4.4 5 60 60
More than I expected!! I needed an extra doggie gate but didn't want to spend a lot of money, but at the same time I wanted one that was not plastic and cheap looking. I have one wooden doggie gate that I paid top dollar for but was looking for something a little less expensive. Well when it arrived I was AMAZED! Well constructed and looks great! What a bargain! I would highly recommend it to anyone! October 26, 2011
These Pet Gates are GREAT! They look great - are versatile, and easy to use! I purchased the 5 panel gate for a large doorway several months ago, and followed that up with 2 small two panel gates for two regular doorways, with a third spare panel for one of those as I wanted a little more flexibility on the one doorway to also block access to going upstairs from my misbehaving dogs. These fit the bill 100%, and look great at the same time! Improvements delivered them ahead of time too! December 20, 2011
A simple solution We'd been using baby gates for our dogs, thinking it was a temporary requirement, but we've had the dogs 2 years, and they still need a lot of supervision, so we needed something more permanent. This is sturdy enough to hold back two smallish terrier-mixes (though they never really jump on it, so who knows what would happen if they did). We can swing one side easily, like a gate, to come and go. This set up is a lot easier on the walls than the pressure gates, and much more attractive. April 6, 2012
The answer to our needs We needed something to keep an 18 pound low-key couch potato of a dog restricted to areas of the house. This item meets our needs. The unit serves as more of a visual barrier. It is just a free-standing zig-zaging set of attached panels. If you have an active dog that would push against these panels, this would probably not be what you need. For our dog, if he knocked over the unit, the sound would scare him so much he'd keep away from it in the future. You use one of the panels as a "door" and move it back and forth to pass through the barrier. The panels are nice and look better than a plastic or mesh baby-gate type unit. I like the fact that the unit is free-standing. I didn't have to drill holes in the walls and I didn't have to worry if it exactly fit an opening. The unit can be moved around where needed. I used the unit to block access to rooms and later to block access to stairs. It's not a cheap unit, but in my opinion worth the investment for my family. I also purchased a five-panel unit and feel it too was a good investment. June 15, 2012

I don't need a 5-panel gate (would be too big), but would like to have a door like the 5-panel gate has. Can I buy a 2 panel gate and put a door panel in between the two panels?

Thank you for your question. The 2-Panel Gate is not designed to attach to the 5-Panel Gate. To expand the width of the gate, we recommend using the panel (#6397159) and the door panel (#397168) listed above.

I see in the product photo that it appears to be in use in a doorway that does not have a door attached to the frame. Will this work in a doorframe that has a door, since there will only be total clearance on one side of the frame? My dog comes to work with me, and I'd like to be able to keep him contained without have to keep my door shut. I hope this makes sense. Thanks!
